Wates take Essex

Wates Construction have taken a 2.5 year lease on 5,016 sqft of offices at Essex House, 31-3 Horse Fair in central Birmingham. The offices will be used as their base whilst constructing a 27 storey residential block on a nearby site. Boston Fieldgate negotiated the letting on behalf of a private client landlord.

AK move into Knowle

Leading kitchen, bedroom & home studies designers and installers – AK Fitted interiors have taken a lease on this lock up shop unit in a prominent High Street location to extend their network of Kitchen showrooms in the region. Boston Fieldgate advised the company on their search for suitable premises and negotiated the lease terms.

HC venture forth

Having seen strong business growth and the need to setup a warehouse facility to support their online business as well as providing a head office Harborne Computers instructed Boston Fieldgate to advise them on a search for new premises. The preferred option identified was the 3,103sqft + mezzanine and a secured yard at Venture House on Saxon Business Park at Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove. The company have taken a 5 year lease with a Tenant break option at expiry of the 3rd year and the terms were negotiated by Boston Fieldgate.

Stoneleigh Park

Acting on behalf of The Federations of Sports & Play Association Boston Fieldgate have sublet their lease on the 818sqft first floor office suite at Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth to Regency Business Sales.

Tutorcell renew

Tutorcell have occupied unit 9 on the Princes Drive industrial Estate in Kenilworth for over 20 years. Back in 2015 they released half of the unit which is now occupied by Ground Up Property and retained the 5,383sqft unit 9a on which they have just signed a further lease extending their occupation to May 2026. Boston Fieldgate negotiated the renewal lease on behalf of the landlord.

Green Sheep move to new pastures

Specialists in the design and manufacture of nursery baby Products – Green Sheep Group have just signed an Agreement for Lease to take – following some Landlord’s works  – a ten year lease on 1 Arrow Valley, on Claybrook Drive Redditch. The building offers circa 32,500 sq ft of warehouse and ancillary office accommodation. The company – winners of the Queens Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category in 2018 has seen substantial growth in business and turnover / profitability and the new warehouse is to meet this and provide much need expansion space. Boston Fieldgate advise Green Sheep Group and following a property search negotiated lease terms on their behalf.

Vortex arrives in Kenilworth

Kenilworth is home to a number of automotive manufacturers and support businesses and Vortex Automotive has now joined them by taking a lease on the 1,640sqft workshop – Unit 6 Alvis Works on Common lane in Kenilworth. The company are involved in racing car assembly for motor enthusiasts. Boston Fieldgate negotiated the letting on behalf of the landlord.

Ground Up take 9b


Ground-up Property ltd who provide a nationwide property maintenance service has just completed a lease on the 5,530sqft warehouse / office building – Unit 9b owned by the Meacham Adams Pension Fund on Princes Drive Industrial Estate in Kenilworth. The unit will be home to the business to enable further expansion of its services and has been taken on a 5 year lease. Boston Fieldgate negotiated the letting on behalf of the landlord.

Budget yard renewal

Budget Timber & Building Supplies Ltd have just renewed their lease for a further 10 years on the yard and premises at Terry Road in east Coventry. The site extends to circa 0. 43 Acres with offices / sales counter/ warehouse and storage of circa 2,600sqft. Boston Fieldgate advised the private client landlord on the renewal.

Newton Close sold

As part of a co-location programme SOCOTEC UK ltd are relocating their Daventry Depot to a recently acquired site in Coventry. The Daventry facility offers 9,530sqft over ground floor and mezzanine levels with a fenced / secure yard on a site of 0.41 acres on Newton Close on the Drayton Fields Industrial Estate Daventry. The company advised by Boston Fieldgate have sold their freehold interest in the building and taken a 6 month lease back.
