On behalf of the St Nicholas Parochial Church Council Boston Fieldgate have negotiated a letting of a suite of first floor offices at 28 High Street in Kenilworth to Transmission Excellence Ltd who have relocated from serviced offices in the town. The suite offers open plan stylish accommodation in the conservation area with excellent natural light. The rent achieved was just over £14.20 / sqft.

Boston Fieldgate have just advised the freeholder of 27 Dudley Road in Lye on the letting of an 11,000 sqft engineering workshop on 0.47acres at a rent of £40,000pa. The tenant has acquired the business of the land owner and taken a 5 year lease on the unit with an option to purchase. .

Configit take Rhodium

International company Configit who are headquartered in Copenhagen have today completed taking an assignment of a lease on 8,859sqft of ground offices with 58 car spaces at Rhodium on Blythe Valley Business Park in Solihull. The company which provides advanced product configurations to automotive and manufacturing enterprises is currently based in Warwick occupying just over 3,000sqft. Business has increased significantly hence the need to relocate to premises nearly triple the size. Boston Fieldgate worked with Configit to identify suitable premises and negotiated the terms on the Rhodium space

Brooklands come to Kenilworth

Cotton Drive industrial estate in Kenilworth is now home to Brooklands Prestige who have taken a 5 year lease on Unit 5 – 1.448sqft at a rent of £11,000pa. Boston Fieldgate negotiated the letting on behalf of the landlord.

Proctor & Chester Measurements have occupied Unit 2 on Cotton Drive Industrial Estate in Kenilworth for many years. With the growth of their business when the opportunity came to take a lease on Units 3 & 4 next door they grabbed the opportunity. The additional space of some 2,896sqft will meet their current need and future growth plans and has been taken on a new lease that is coterminus with their existing lease which expires in 2023. Boston Fieldgate advised the landlord, J F Buckingham Ltd.

Harlow factory attracts strong interest

Herbert House on Elizabeth Way in Harlow offers 33,842 sqft of single storey factory / warehouse premises with an attached two storey office block on a site of 1.7 acres. The freehold interest was offered for sale on behalf of a private pension fund client by Boston Fieldgate and generated very strong early interest from owner occupiers, investors and developers. The property was let on a lease expiring in July to Magenta who are relocating but agreed a short term occupation post completion to facilitate their move. The sale to Boran Properties has now been completed at a price well in excess of the £1.5m guide and the property will now be occupied by one of its associate companies as a manufacturing and production facility.

Cobra secures 8

Cobra International Security has taken a lease on 1,088sqft / 93.7sqm of offices with 8 dedicated car spaces at Alvis Works in Kenilworth. They have taken an 18 month lease and will be using the premises for their midlands headquarters and training centre. Boston Fieldgate negotiated the lease on behalf of landlord.

Cherwell Packaging on the move

Cherwell Packaging has just taken a 5 year lease on 8,075sqft of warehouse space on the Wednesbury Trading Estate in Wednesbury to service a growing client base and new contract wins. Their existing facility of 4,035 sqft is in Hockley, Birmingham will be released at lease expiry later this year. Boston Fieldgate advise Cherwell on their property interests and following an extensive search to identify possible options identified the new premises in Wednesbury and negotiated the lease terms.
